Plot:
After the break up of their old band, guitarist Yuki & drummer Santa decide to form a new one. They recruit bass player Towa, young guitarist Atsuro, and after much persuasion, vocalist Sakuya. Together they form Lucifer and they struggle to make it in the music business, and also to stay together. As well, they have to deal with personal issues, such as parental objections, and watching their old bands succeed ahead of them. Sakuya is the most troubled band member, as he has to deal with his tragic past, and his relationship with teenaged lyricist Aine. - http://www.animenewsnetwork.com.au/

My thoughts:

I really like this anime.

I like that we are able to see how each member of Λucifer leaves an impression on the other musicians they meet.
I think it is good to see how Sakuya's character grows, thanks to the influence he has from not only the other members of Λucifer but also from Aine.

This anime is great, It is good in showing to us, the realistic aspect of the music industry, to which we are able to gain an insight. This is not only of the business side of music but also, the heartache and trials the band has to face in order to make it in the industry, with the valuable support and encouragement they provide to one another.

We are also able to witness each of the members growth as musicians, however the growth we see is not merely limited to their talents as musicians, but is also inclusive of the ongoing growth within the individual, to become the person they are today.

The progression we see both musically and characteristically; which we see occuring to each of the individual members, is what makes it so believable to the viewers, that Λucifer are one of the greatest bands we will ever encounter.

When we first meet Ralph of Metro Records, I felt this was a petty man, The lengths he is going to, to bring the distruction of Λucifer is petty. I often thought it would be much more beneficial to him and his company if he were to use Λucifer's popularity to his advantage as he could have found many ways in which their association with one another could be beneficial to Metro Records.
However, his feelings for Λucifer and especially his unwillingness to not lose to Sakuya, made me suspicious of his relationship with Sakuya. Which I was right to be, as I just knew there was something more to their relationship than being mere rivals in the business world.
I thought it was good how they incorporated both the real life and anime band into the credits (*^_^*)b
