誰かが私にキスをした Dareka ga Watashi ni Kiss wo Shita

Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac

Plot:
Naomi is an ordinary high school student who goes to an international school. One day, she loses her memory for the past 4 years. But gradually she begins to search for her identity, and even when her memory returns, she keeps on looking for her real self, and what she truly loves in life.

My thoughts:
I thought the way the people sounded when speakin Eglish sounded as though they couldn't act and made it sound were exagerating. Here I mean the non Japanese people.
It just sounded like people couldn't act.

I think this film could have been better.
I thought the ending was nice though.

Moon Child

Plot:
In the year 2014, Japan suffers a major economical collapse and people are forced to emigrate to nearby mainland China. Three boys are living in a fictional Chinese city called Mallepa. The three boys, named Sho (Gackt), Shinji and Toshi survive through pickpocketing. During a theft gone wrong, Sho meets Kei (Hyde), a man who looks to be young, but is in fact a vampire.

Several years later, Sho is in his twenties, leading a robbery team together with Kei and Toshi. On one of these robberies, against a criminal gang, they meet Taiwanese man named Son (Leehom). Son is attacking the gang because the gang leader raped his sister, Yi-Che.

These are the main characters of the film, which goes on describing Sho and his life for several years forward, as he rises through the ranks of the criminal underworld in Mallepa. --wikipedia

My thoughts:
When I first heard there would be a film starring Gackt & Hyde I was a little interested, but I never looked more into it nor did I watch it until this month, I should be ashamed of myself leaving it for soo long [Moon Child is from 2003]. I finally decided to watch Moon Child as I discovered there were Vampires.

I've seen on the internet people bashing Gackt's english for one scene where he tells a man what his tattoo says, here Gackt speaks in english, I see no problem with how he speaks, I was able to understand him and his english is fine, Gackt has spoken english on many occasions.

I liked that not only does Moon Child star both Hyde & Gackt but infact they also provide the movies theme song and Gackt also played a part in the writing of this film.

Kisaragi キサラギ

Plot:
One year after the suicide of C-list model Miki, five of her fans come together for a commemorative meeting: fan club leader Iemoto, Oda Yuji, Snake, Yasuo, and Ichigo Musume.

Sitting down together for the first time, they reminisce about their idol, wondering how someone so bright and beautiful could have possibly taken her own life. It just doesn't make sense.

That's when they reach a revelation - she must have been murdered! The five heatedly discuss her death, expressing their suspicions and weighing the many clues and possibilities.

The more they talk, the more the case takes shape in their minds, and the closer they come to the truth..~ http://www.crunchyroll.com/library/Kisaragi_-_Movie

My thoughts:
I really really really enjoyed this movie, It is very funny and also makes the audience want to know exactly what happned. It has unexpected surprises.

At first glance I thought 5 men in one room this will be boring...WRONG!!!.

What I really liked was that after all the speculations, accusations, drama, and comedy, they all come together along with Miki to be very dorky.

Through out the film I found myself trying to guess how each of the men were connected to Miki, at one point I thought Oda Yuji would actually turn out to be her father.

I really liked the character of Snake, he was rather funny, I liked how he would take the side of the person whom seemed to be the intellectual and makes the most sense, even if in reality that person is wrong.

Although it pains me to say it but I couldn't help but find the beginning to middle(ish) of the movie with the character of Yasuo to be funny, I say it pains me to say this because he is disgusting, I did not want to know about his business when he left the room, but it was funny & disgusting at the same time.

Therefore I can only conclude that the thing I did not like about キサラギ Kisaragi was that it had its disgusting moments (^_^).

I find it was slightly ironic I should choose to watch Kisaragi because of the occupation of Oguei Shun's character and that of his character in 東京DOGS .

I did like the character of Oguri Shun, as Guru was both stupid and sensible.

But there is one thing I must say...

her dad sniffed her pants (O_o)

(^_^)

Also I don't think many people understand the ending but if you watch carefully you see it is a year later and that we had previously seen Guru saying to do this again next year only to have his idea rejected he then suggests asking for people to come next year whereby he is told he can do it, they're sure he could find atleast one other fan he can do it with, because they only want this to be a one time experience never to happen again, I can only assume the following year Guru posts to his homepage and the man who turns up at the end of the film is possibly that one more fan they are sure Guru would be able to find, and that they all had decided to meet up again to remember their Idol on the anniversary of her death.

However I could always be wrong, I guess its open to interpretation.

I will deffinately be watching this movie again in the future, I highly reccomend this as it really is that good.

ナナ NANA

Plot:
Yazawa Ai's extremely popular manga comes to life in Nana, the exciting new film starring popular singer Nakashima Mika and Miyazaki Aoi! Released in 2005 Nana tells the story of two twenty-year-old women with the same name, but drastically different personalities.

First up, there's Osaki Nana (Nakashima Mika), a calm, cool, and collected punk rock singer who struts into Tokyo's underground punk scene looking to hit the big time. While Nana's got some ex-boyfriend issues that she's eager to put behind her, she won't allow that personal drama to interfere with her big dream. In fact, Nana's not going to stop until she's conquered Japan as the nation's top rock star! The other "Nana" of the title is Komatsu Nana (TV actress Miyazaki Aoi), who is alternatively called Hachi. Cute and cheerful, Hachi led a somewhat sheltered life and has a bad habit of falling in love too quickly. She had some relationship problems in the past, but when she falls for her high school pal Junko, she decides to follow him to Tokyo when he gets admitted to an art design school. By moving to the big city, she hopes to find love and happiness in this new locale.

By pure chance, Nana and Hachi end up meeting on a train, and thanks to a chain of coincidences involving the number seven, the two of them end up sharing the same apartment. Its number? 707! So even with all the twists of fate in their favor, can these two very different people live under the same roof and get along? And will they eventually find the happiness they've dreamed for so long? The answers are revealed in Nana, director Kentarou Ootani's winning film adaptation of the popular girl's comic!~http://silentregrets.com

My thoughts:
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started to watch this movie.

At first I didnt think I was going to like this movie, however as the movie progressed I started to like it more and more.

I think the fact that we get to know each character better is the reason for this.

I must say I am quite envious of ナナ NANA for having one another.

I would have liked to have seen more of the band, as I thought they were quite cool.

Regarding Matsuyama Kenichi's character I thought his hair was odd, but then when you see him perfoming on stage he looks cool.

I also liked the character of Nobu played by Narimiya Hiroki, he seems fun. Also Narimiya Hiroki looked really cool and in to it when he was performing with the band.

All in all the band looked really cool, and their music was/is good.

I enjoyed this movie.

テニスの王子様 The Prince of Tennis

Plot:
Twelve-year-old Ryoma Echizen is a tennis prodigy from America who has the personal history of winning four consecutive American Junior Tennis tournaments. His father, Nanjiro Echizen, a tennis player of legendary status, calls Ryoma back to Japan to attend the distinguished Seishun Academy Middle School. Ryoma, a first year, has his eyes set on being on the regulars team of the tennis club, for which the school is famous.

Then, there is the lone girl who watches Ryoma from the audience. Her name is Shioin Higaki, whose parents had died in accident. She is mute due to traumatic shock of her past. She first meets Ryoma when he helps her on the train from a loud group of high school boys.

Ryoma arrives at Seigaku, and is immediately challenged by Kaoru Kaidoh, a second year team regular, known as "the Viper," whose perseverance is daunting and is known for his Buggy Whip Shot, nicknamed "Snake Shot". The members of the Seigaku regular team come watch the match. One is the vice-captain, Shuichiro Oishi, who has a calm and rational sense of playing sense, compliments the acrobatic plays of his double's partner, Eiji Kikumaru, making them the Golden Pair. Then there's third years Shusuke Fuji, a formidable player known for his tactical skill on the tennis courts, making him the "genius" of the team; Sadaharu Inui, whose tennis style relies on collecting info on his opponents' playing style called "data tennis"; and Takashi Kawamura, whose personality instantly changes when he grabs his tennis racquet. The other second year regular is Takeshi Momoshiro, known for his power plays. Ryoma surprises everyone by making Kaidoh's reaction slower and then pulling off the Snake Shot himself, but says it's just the Buggy Whip. Kaidoh and Ryoma's match is interrupted by Kunimitsu Tezuka, the nationally-ranked captain of the tennis club. Tezuka makes Kaidoh run laps for playing a match without an approval and begins to take an interest in Ryoma.

Ryoma arrives in time for the monthly campus ranking tournament, but at first, due to his youth and his cool attitude, some club members do not take him seriously; however, during the ranking tournament, Ryoma is quick to prove his skills and become the only first year on the regular team, just in time for the prefectual preliminary rounds.

While in a crucial match against Fudomine Middle School during the prefectuals, Ryoma injures his eye by accident, but his determination to finish the match with his Nitouryuu helps bring victory to Seigaku as they can advance to the Kanto Tournament as prefectual champions. Tezuka is deeply troubled by Ryoma's style; it's an exact copy of his father's. He is also worried about his own arm, which is injured and will add on injuries when using his Zero Degree Drop Shot. Tezuka plays a secret match with Echizen, and utterly defeats him using the Drop Shot, disregarding his physician's advice. He tells Ryoma to develop his own style of tennis and become the pillar of Seigaku.

As the regional Kanto Tournament draws near, Seigaku learns of their first opponent, Hyotei Academy, their strongest rivals. All the regulars are chosen for the tournament except for Momoshiro, as Echizen is chosen over him. However, Echizen says he has to represent in the Youth Cup and is going back to America. Momoshiro is angry of Ryoma's choice and refuses the jersey Ryoma offers him. Egate Mcleod Higaki of Hyotei comes to the courts and tries to provoke the players until Tezuka tells him to leave. Echizen goes to the park to think about his decision, and Shioin, Egate's little sister, comes by and plays her flute. The music reaches Echizen's ears, and he makes his choice.

At the Kanto Tournament, Momo still has decided not to come. Oishi and Eiji play Doubles 2. They begin a losing streak until Momo reveals himself in the cheering crowd for Seigaku. With new confidence from their returning teammate, the Golden Pair make a comeback, but lose to Hyotei 5-7. In the crowd, Kaidoh finds Echizen, who decided to stay. Kaidoh and Inui begin their Doubles 1 match. Kaidoh continually takes all the shots and uses his Boomerang Snake, while Inui stands and watches. Finally, he tells Kaidoh he has their opponents' data and they win the match 7-5. Kawamura plays Singles 3 and tries his Hadokyuu, but his big opponent copies the move. They both keep using Hadokyuu until Kawamura does the unthinkable: the dangerous one-handed Hadokyuu. His opponent copies, and both keep hitting until both of them drop their racquets, their hands and racquet handles covered in blood. The match is considered a No Game. Fuji, playing Singles 2, borrows Kawamura's racquet, and amazes his opponent with his Disappearing Serve and his Hakugei Triple Counter; he wins 6-0. Tezuka plays Singles 1 against the popular Atobe; Echizen comes and takes his place as bench coach, and, despite some of the other Seigaku players, Tezuka allows him to rejoin the team.

Atobe seems to gain the early lead, but Tezuka comes back with his Tezuka Zone and Drop Shot. Tezuka gets to match point, but as he tries to serve, his arm gives out. Tezuka continues to play as Echizen takes off his jacket, revealing his Seigaku uniform, and goes to practice. Tezuka loses in the tiebreak, 6-7. Because both teams have two wins, their reserve players will determine the winner. Echizen faces off against Egate, and wins the first game using his teammates' moves. However, as an eclipse passes over the court, Egate uses his brutal tennis form and injures Echizen's leg. Remembering his vow to become stronger, Echizen surprises everyone by using the COOL Drive attack to come back, break the eclipse, and win, and Egate's sister, Shioin, breaks her muteness and cheers for them. Tezuka rewards Echizen with his Seigaku jacket he kept for him.

As Echizen looks up in the stands at their future opponents, his only reply to them is, "mada mada dane" ("No, not yet", "simply not there yet" or "a long ways to go").

My thoughts:
Because recently I was in a mood for 城田優 Shirota Yuu, I decided to get this movie, & today I finally watched it.

I have only watched the movie version of the prince of tennis, therefore I did not really know what to expect nor was I fully aware of what the prince of tennis テニスの王子様 is about.

At first I thought I would not like this movie at all, as I am not a tennis fan, However the more the movie progressed the more I liked it.

I wanted to see more, I would have liked for there to have been atleast a short drama, just so I could have been satisfied with seeing more (^_^)/.

I liked Shirota Yuu's character, i've not seen Shirota Yuu act in this way before so it was good to see, especially as it was very different to his role in Koshonin 交渉人.

I also thought that Kanata Hongo was good as Echizen, he was quite a brat and very confident in his skill as a tennis player.

I would like to watch the anime version of The Prince of Tennis テニスの王子様 however I saw there were many episodes and well I'm kinda too lazy to work my way through them, but maybe one day i'll work my through them.

My thoughts:

Naturally after watchingthe drama series I HAD TO WATCH THE MOVIE

I LOVE IT

Evenery should watch this!!!

It has all the same things I like from the drama series.
I thought this series was good fun, even if it can make you want to cry at times.

ワルボロ Waruboro

Plot:
Matsuda plays Ko, a third year junior high student during the 1980s that fights all through class and acts like a punk. One day he changes bodies with the school honor student!~ http://asianmediawiki.com/Waruboro

My thoughts:
I decided to watch this film because I wanted to watch more of Matsuda Shota, to me he seems to be a very decent actor, therefore to make a good judgement I need to see more from him (^.^).

I quite liked this film, an intersting concept and quite sweet too.

Letters from Iwo Jima

Plot:
The island of Iwo Jima stands between the American military force and the home islands of Japan. Therefore the Imperial Japanese Army is desperate to prevent it from falling into American hands and providing a launching point for an invasion of Japan. General Tadamichi Kuribayashi is given command of the forces on the island and sets out to prepare for the imminent attack. General Kuribayashi, however, does not favor the rigid traditional approach recommended by his subordinates, and resentment and resistance fester among his staff. In the lower echelons, a young soldier, Saigo, a poor baker in civilian life, strives with his friends to survive the harsh regime of the Japanese army itself, all the while knowing that a fierce battle looms. When the American invasion begins, both Kuribayashi and Saigo find strength, honor, courage, and horrors beyond imagination. Written by Jim Beaver mailto:%7Bjumblejim@prodigy.net}

My thoughts:
I have never watched this film before, however tonight it is on t.v therefore I tracked down the film so that I could watch it. As it is on from 23:35 until 02:15 I did not want to become tired and have to sleep rather than watch all of the film.

My reason for watching Letters from Iwa Jima is because one of the actors in this film Ninomiya Kazunari, therefore I took this opportunity to watch the film as I do want to watch all the things 嵐Arashi have been in.

I have not watched many war movies but the ones I have watched have all been told from the Americans point of view and how America won the war, so it was good to see a film being told from the Japanese point of view.

I think what I liked the most about this film was that Saigo the character played by Nino is from Ohmiya and is a baker, this was like playing homage to the NinoxOhno &Ohno's love for bread wanting to be a baker (^.^)/

I did not expect this film to be in Japanese as much as it was, since for some reason people over here seem to have a problem with subtitles / anything in another language.

I also think this is the first film I have watched which is directed by Clint Eastwood.

I also did not know that Nino had such a big role, I just assumed it would be a small cameo or more like that of the actor Nakamura Shido, whom plays Lieutenant Ito (he has a big role but not that big a role), therefore I was happy he had so much screen time.

Although I do not like to watch war films, I would probably watch this next time it is on tv.

I think Ninomiya Kazunari did a good job in this film.

Azumii

Plot:
In Japan in times of war among clans, the master samurai Gessai raises ten orphans in the mountains, one of them the girl Azumi, and they become experts in martial arts. When they are teenagers, the master assigns them to a mortal test, and then the five survivors travel with him with the mission of killing three evil warlords of clans and keeping their nation united without plunging again into a bloody war. Written by Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ~ http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0384819/

My thoughts:

When wathing this 映画, I was very happy to see Narimiya Hiroki as well as Eita are in あずみ Azumi , however I did not like that Oguri Shun & Eita lack screen time, but atleast there was still plenty of Narimiya Hiroki, however sadness struck me again as I did not like to see an end to Narimiya Hiroki's character. (T_T).

What I liked about this film is that there was alot of action, and also some blood and gore with a little humour, I don't think I found myself become bored at all whilst watching Azumi .

The only thing I did not like about this movie is that Azumi is left almost all alone, with the loss of her 'family'.

I also thought that Hijyoumaru Mogami sounded a little like Shirota Yuu's character Mariya Kyosuke(in Koshonin 交渉人) when he was fighting and speaking to his brother in the field.

I really enjoyed Azumi and I will probably watch this movie again in the future.

崖の上のポニョ Ponyo on the cliff by the sea

Plot:
It's about an enchanted goldfish who befriends a little boy named Sosuke. However, their relationship threatens to cause a dangerous flood that will engulf the world. Fearing this, the goldfish's parents, Fujimoto the wizard and Gran Mamare the Sea Goddess, decide to test the youngsters to see if their love is true. The film was released in US theaters on August 15, 2009.~ http://www.nausicaa.net/wiki/Ponyo_on_the_Cliff_by_the_Sea

My thoughts:
I decided to watch 崖の上のポニョ, because, I like many of the movies by Studio Ghibli.

I really really like this.

There were many funny moments, and it is also very cute.

Definately, I will watch again.

Porco Rosso

Plot:
The film tells of the story of Porco and his would-be romance with Gina, who runs a sea pilots' club and hotel in the Adriatic Sea. The plot revolves around Porco's friendship with a girl named Fio, who is a talented aircraft engineer, and his rivalry with a hotshot American pilot named Curtis. Porco has been cursed with the face of a pig, though the origin and nature of the curse is never fully explained.

Originally a World War I ace pilot in the Italian Air Force, Porco has grown disillusioned and now makes his living as a bounty hunter guarding ships in the Adriatic sea from pirate gangs with planes. Though rivals, Porco and the pirates manage to coexist with a minimum of bloodshed. For relaxation, he and other pilots spend their evenings on neutral ground at the Hotel Adriano, the establishment run by Gina. ~http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porco_Rosso

My thoughts:
When I decided to watch this movie, I thought I wouldn't really like it as much as I did.

Studio Ghibli yet again has surprised me and made me happy.

Everytime I saw that this movie would be on television, I always missed it, therefore when the opportunity arised I happily watched this movie, and must say I am glad I did.

Final Fantasy Advent Children

Plot:
Two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII, the survivors of Midgar have begun to build a new city, Edge, on the outskirts of the old metropolis. A strange disease known as "Geostigma" has arisen. After Cloud's showdown with Sephiroth, he has been living with Tifa in Edge. Marlene and an orphaned boy named Denzel have been entrusted to their care. After receiving a message from Tifa, Cloud is attacked by three men, Kadaj (voiced by Showtaro Morikubo in the Japanese version and Steve Staley in the English version), Loz (voiced by Kenji Nomura in the Japanese version and Fred Tatasciore in the English version), and Yazoo (is voiced by Yūji Kishi in the Japanese version and Dave Wittenberg in the English version), who believe that he has hidden their "mother". The leader, Kadaj, ends the battle as he discovers that Cloud does not have their "mother". Cloud responds to a message from Tifa, who tells him that the Turks have a job for him. At the meeting place, Cloud discovers that Rufus Shinra is still alive. Rufus attempts to enlist Cloud's help to stop the trio, but fails as he refuses and leaves. Kadaj arrives and demands that Rufus tell him where to find his "mother". It is revealed that his "mother" is Jenova's remains, and is somehow connected to the cause of the Geostigma. The trio are planning a new "reunion" that will culminate in an assault on the Planet.

Loz arrives at Aerith's church in Midgar in an attempt to find Jenova's remains, and is confronted by Tifa. After battling Tifa, he receives instructions on his cell phone to capture Marlene. Kadaj and the gang begin collecting children infected with Geostigma, including Denzel and the uninfected Marlene, and take them to the Forgotten City. Cloud attempts to rescue them but fails, and is quickly defeated, and is then rescued by Vincent Valentine, who reveals to Cloud what the trio is seeking and that it could result in the return of Sephiroth. Cloud agrees to return to Edge and face Kadaj in battle. In Edge, the trio call forth several monsters to attack the populace, including the summon "Bahamut SIN". While Cloud's companions deal with Bahamut SIN, Reno and Rude try to take care of Yazoo and Loz until Cloud arrives. Cloud and his friends are able to dispatch the monsters and Bahamut SIN.

In a nearby building, Rufus reveals to Kadaj that he has been in possession of Jenova's remains all along. He throws the box containing it from the edge of the building. Kadaj dives after the remains and recovers them shortly after Rufus shoots the box and damaging its contents. Kadaj spots Cloud in pursuit of him, and is followed to the ruins of Midgar. They battle each other in Aerith's church. Kadaj destroys the flowerbed, which releases an outflow of Lifestream-infused water that cures Cloud's Geostigma. Kadaj flees to the ruins of Shinra Headquarters, where they continue their fight. Outmatched, Kadaj absorbs Jenova's remains into his body, allowing Sephiroth to be reborn through the Remnant's body. Sephiroth reveals that once those who die from the Geostigma return to the Lifestream, he will be able to control it and use the Planet as a vessel to travel space in search of a new planet for him to rule. After a heated final battle, Cloud defeats Sephiroth who dissipates leaving a weakened Kadaj at Cloud's mercy. Aerith begins to pour healing rain across Edge, curing the people of their Geostigma. She tells Kadaj to be at peace, who believes her voice to be that of his "mother", and he is taken by the Lifestream. Cloud is then shot by Yazoo in the back. Also succumbing to the healing rain but bent on not going alone, Yazoo and Loz prepare one final blast at Cloud as he charges at them, resulting in a large explosion that engulfs all three.

Afterward, Cloud appears surrounded by a white light, and Aerith and Zack are heard. Aerith tells Cloud that his place is not with them yet, and sends him back. Cloud awakens in a pool of Lifestream-infused water in Aerith's church, surrounded by his friends, family and the citizens of Edge. After curing the Geostigma-infected Denzel, he turns and sees Aerith crouching by some children. As she stands and walks to the doorway, she turns back and says that everything's all right now, and steps into a white light with Zack. Cloud watches them go, and says that he now knows that he's not alone.~ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_VII_Advent_Children

My thoughts:
I really like this, I remember trying to play the game but I was not good when it came to fighting the boss.

I've always found the Games to have amazing graphics, that is something that we also see in this film. Absolutey brilliant.

I especially like the character of Vincent, I'm unsure as to why but I think its because his character is mysterious, and cool, and just plain awesome.

Naturally I also liked Cloud.
I was happy to see characters from the game such as barrett in this too.

I've watched this before and will definately be watching again in the future.

Crows Zero

Plot:
The story starts with Takiya Genji (Shun Oguri), the son of a Yakuza boss, entering Suzuran All-Boys High School as a transferred senior with the goal of conquering it. During the Freshers' orientation lecture, Yakuza arrive at the school seeking Tamao Serizawa to avenge an injury. To show his worth, Genji fights and defeats the Yakuza, who mistake him for Tamao. One of the Yakuza, Ken Katagiri is impressed by Genji's skills. Meanwhile, Tamao greets his best friend Tokio, who is discharged from a hospital. Tamao is then arrested for not having a driver's license for a bike.

After the intro, Genji meets Ruka in a nightclub, where she sings as an R&B singer. Genji declares his ambition of conquering Suzuran to his father, who failed in the task. They agree that if Genji conquers Suzuran, he may inherit his father's Yakuza family. The next day, Genji meets Serizawa and Tokio, who was a childhood friend of Genji's. Tokio tells Genji to take down Rindaman before approaching Serizawa. Rindaman, who is giant-sized and a legendary figure in the school, ignores Genji , who instead finds Ken Katagiri.

Ken tells Genji that he was in Suzuran as well, and came close to ruling it, but failed and ended up being a dropout. He proposes teaching Genji about leadership and influencing others to join his army, in order to correct Genji's lack of strategy in his ambition. Genji uses his advice to conquer Chuta Tamura's class, admitting him into his army. The Mikami Brothers of Class B join Serizawa's army, who then approach Class C's leader, Takasi Makise, who maintains a neutral position.

Genji decides to acquire Makise by exploiting his weakness for sex. Ken arranges a date, but it gets botched. Makise joins Genji anyway, based solely on the friendship formed on the day. A gang known as the Freshmen Trio defeat all the other freshmen, but are provoked by Izaki, a senior. Izaki proposes joining Genji , but ambushes him instead, to test his strength. Genji fights valiantly, and Izaki is impressed, despite thoroughly defeating Genji . He joins forces with Genji , forming the Genji Perfect Seiha Army.

Serizawa is alarmed by the rapid rise of Genji , but chooses not to take action. A member of his army, Tokaji takes covert action against the perceived threat by ambushing Izaki and hanging him from a rope, bloodied. This provokes Genji , but Makise stops him from making a rash attack on Serizawa. Later, Serizawa and Tokio meet Genji , but Tokio suffers a seizure and is rushed to a hospital, where he learns that he has a large cerebral aneurysm, and that the surgery required has a 30% success rate. Tokio chooses to go ahead with the operation, confident of his survival.

Angered by the provocations, Genji attacks Serizawa's classes even as Makise tries to stop him. Chuta is also ambushed by Tokaji, and as Genji tries to leave to attack Serizawa, Makise finally decides to leave the GPS Army, stating that he cannot follow a leader without control. Ken tries to encourage Genji, and learns that Genji 's father is Hideo Takiya, a former associate of Ken's.

Tokaji covertly tries to arranges a deal with Hideto Bandou, leader of a biker gang, The Front of Armament, to kidnap Ruka to provoke Genji . Genji challenges Makise to a fight, with a condition that if Genji wins, Makise joins him again. Ken's boss, Joji Yazaki asks Ken to kill Genji , disregarding the fact that killing the heir to a Yakuza family would entail an all-out war. Izaki returns from the hospital and is welcomed by the GPS Army.

Ruka is kidnapped by men wearing The Front of Armament jackets. Ken approaches Hideo Takiya, informing him of Yazaki's plan to kill him. Ken decides that he will not do as he was asked, and suffer Yakuza punishment for disobedience - death. Ruka calls Genji , telling him that she is abducted and that her abductors wore jackets with skulls on the backs. Realising that they are the Front of Armament, the GPS Army advances to the Narai Warehouse, The Front's headquarters.

A fight ensues, and Bandou is impressed by Genji 's strength. He calls an end to fight to ask why Genji has chosen to oppose The Front of Armament. After Genji states that Ruka was abducted by men wearing jackets bearing skulls Bandou reveals that he has sealed the skulls and that none of his men bear the skulls on their backs. He then tells Genji that Tokaji might be behind the whole farce and tells him where he can find him. Finding Ruka there, Ayman is finally bent for war against Serizawa. Serizawa, who was not aware of Tokaji's actions, fights him and agrees to Genji 's proposal for an all-out battle. They decide to fight at 5 PM, at the same time when Tokio will enter operation, the idea being that Serizawa will fight alongside Tokio.

As the battle enters full swing, the Freshmen Trio comment on the battle's balance. The battle goes in Serizawa's favour, even though the GPS army fights strongly. The Front of Armament joins the battle midway on the GPS' side, evening the odds. Towards the end, only Serizawa and Genji remain standing, and fight. Meanwhile, Ken's boss takes him to a dock to be executed for his disobedience. He gives Ken his coat, stating that Ken had always wanted to wear it (aspired to becoming a Yakuza leader). He then shoots Ken, who cries out to Genji before sinking.

I enjoyed both movies, however I prefer the first.

Honey & Clover

Plot:
Yūta Takemoto, Takumi Mayama and Shinobu Morita are three young men who live in the same apartment complex and are students at an art college in Tokyo.

One day, one of the art professors, Shūji Hanamoto, introduces his cousin's daughter, Hagumi Hanamoto, who has come to live with him and is a first year student at the art school. Upon introduction, Takemoto and Morita fall in love with her. Morita expresses his love for Hagu in ways that scare her, especially calling Hagu 'mousey' and constantly photographing her, while Takemoto hides his feelings and tries to be a friend to Hagu. Hagu herself, though initially timid and afraid of company, gradually warms up to the three.

The group also includes another female: Ayumi Yamada. She is a master of pottery and is well-known by her nickname "Tetsujin" (Iron Lady). When not at school or hanging out with friends from the college, she helps run the family liquor store. She is very popular with all the guys, whether they are from the liquor store's shopping district or other pottery students, but Mayama is the only man she is in love with.

Unfortunately, although Mayama considers Yamada a friend, he does not return her love and is busy chasing an older woman; Rika Harada. Rika runs an architecture studio which she used to run with her husband before he died in a car accident which left Rika disabled. Rika Harada and Shūji were very close friends and roommates in college. Mayama is sent by Shūji to help Rika, who has a hard time taking care of herself and running her business.

The story follows these five characters in their love triangles, unrequited love, graduating from college, finding jobs, and learning more about themselves.

The series was adapted as a live-action feature film produced by Asmik Ace Entertainment. It was directed by Masahiro Takada from a screenplay by Masahiko Kawahara and Masahiro Takada, and starred Sakurai Sho as Takemoto, Yū Aoi as Hagu, Yūsuke Iseya as Morita, Ryō Kase as Mayama, and Megumi Seki as Ayumi.[27] It was released in Japanese theaters on July 22, 2006. The DVD for the film was released on January 12, 2007. ~wikipedia

My thoughts:
I prefer the anime and manga series to both the drama and film, however they are not that bad.
Morita will always be my favourite character from Honey & Clover.

My thoughts:
As I like Matsuyama Kenichi I decided to watch this film when I had the chance to do so.

I found this film to be rather slow paced and even in someplaces a little boring.
However,
It was not all bad, I liked the little quirky comedic moments, and also still found that Matsuyama Kenichi to be a wonderful actor, I also liked Aoi Yu in this film.

I'm sorry to say that I did not like the character of Yuri, I found her to be a little annoying and childish in a non-cute way.

My thoughts:
For some reason I enjoy watching Narimiya Hiroko, as he stars in this film I decided to watch it.
This was quite an enjoyable film, I don't think i've seen anything quite like this before, it was good to see a way in which the characters came together.
Porn aside it was funny, well not porn aside as that takes away the entire point but I hope you can understand what I mean lol.
